#490...oilcloth vase

Whole Foods had a bunch of peonies this week, so I bought some to bring to my friend's house for dinner last night. I hope they open up for her soon. I needed a vase to house the stems, so I picked up a glass cylinder for $1 at a thrift shop and grabbed a scrap of  echino Japanese oil cloth (like this) from my stash.
I cut the oilcloth to size, and used double sided artist's tape to adhere the oilcloth to the glass and voila....fastest homemade vase ever.
